Well, here we are. This is me. The photo below was taken by Beth Gilleon. Typically, I'm making a funny face or flipping off the camera. You're welcome for such a thoughtful gesture. But she captures me in a semi-classier light.
I'm not particularly eager to talk about myself. As an exceptionally private, self-classified, high-functioning, anxiety-ridden adult (imagine ADHD on ADHD), sharing about myself adds more stress than I'd like. Although, it's exciting to be here with you, right now, within the pages of this book. As I open up a little bit about myself, I'd love for you to do the same. Let's be in this together. Reach out, and show me who my readers genuinely are.
My close friends describe me as an enigma. I shoot my tequila shots straight and chilled; I take my whiskey on the rocks. My overactive imagination allows me to dream every night in excruciating details, and unlike others, I remember each dream vividly. I enjoy laughing, and I consider myself to be holistic - a whirlwind of thoughtfulness and intricacy all in one.
Many people would describe me as mature, even though I find the number "69" hilarious. I'm empathetic to a fault, embarrassingly literal at times, and I have a very twisted sense of humor - arguably the best part of me. In all seriousness, though, writing is my passion. It's what makes me feel most fulfilled and joyful. It's a way for me to share the intimate details of my imagination. Please know it is truly an honor to share my work with you through these humbly written words.
As I close, please don't confuse my inability to be anything but long-winded as enjoying this "About Me." Clear and concise is an art I've yet to master - you should probably learn that now.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sharing in this journey with me.
